SERVICE DOG TRAINING CLASS SCHOLARSHIPS

Got Your Six Support Dogs offers Service Dog provides training class scholarships to those interested in training their own dog to become a service dog. Keep in mind, personal dogs must be at least a year old, a graduate of our basic and intermediate class, able to pass an AKC Canine Good Citizen test, and able to pass our evaluation and temperament screening.

This is a rigorous process, and most dogs do not have what it takes to certify as a service dog. If your personal pet does not pass, we would gladly assist you in finding a dog that would meet our requirements.

Our program consists of weekly training for a minimum of a year. Training will be done at our facility in Maryville, Illinois, as well as public locations. We only accept committed applicants into our Service Dog Training Classes. Therefore, anyone who misses more than four classes in a year will be removed from the program.

Please note, taking the class does not guarantee your dog Got Your Six Support Dog certification. They will still have to pass a test at the end of the year to receive certification through Got Your Six Support Dogs.
